There are plenty of ways to stay active during the workday. Media specialist, Ken Kurson, has stayed fit during his times as a journalist because of the little things he did to help his health. First off, it’s important for the correct mindset to be upheld and always drink a lot of water.

As silly as it sounds, water can truly be beneficial to staying active at work. By drinking a lot of water, naturally one will have to get up to go to the bathroom, which burns calories. Also, it flushes toxins out of the body and keeps the skin hydrated. In addition, there are many work exercise machines available. Having a treadmill that allows space for a laptop is great for those who like to walk and work. There are bikes that are attached to desks so that one can peddle away while on a conference call. Lastly, Ken Kurson said it’s important that on lunch hours, to take breaks outside and walk as much as one can.
