With the region’s only rehabilitation hospital, as well as a full range of outpatient therapies, our approach to rehabilitation is unmatched.

Brooks’ integrated treatment teams include certified therapists from many disciplines who receive ongoing training in the latest approaches—like manual therapy. In contrast to other therapies, manual therapy involves slower techniques that allow the body to use its own natural actions and reactions to realign the vertebrae correctly.

Our commitment to evidence-based therapies has also led us to collaborate with the University of Florida to develop the Brooks Center for Rehabilitation Studies. We are advancing the field of rehabilitation therapy with numerous ongoing studies, including the largest grant for rehabilitation studies ever awarded by the National Institute of Health. By focusing on research, we not only give our patients access to the best new treatments before they are available elsewhere, but we also enhance our therapists’ knowledge.
